What’s The Best Time To Visit Dublin?
The best time to visit Dublin is June through August. It’s warm (by Ireland standards) and there are a lot of festivals happening in the streets, but it’s also the busiest and most expensive time to visit with high hotel and airfare prices.
What Do I Pack For Dublin?
- A good book – this one helps with relaxation!
- Backpack for carrying essentials while out and about
- Swimwear and a cover-up for the spa and pool area
- Waterproof sandals to walk around the pool area – I hate when shoes get “mushy” from water so waterproof sandals are the way to go
- Warm layers like this jacket for cooler weather (Dublin’s weather can be super erratic!)
- Lightweight and packable rain jacket
- Comfortable walking shoes for exploring
- International travel adaptor in case your country uses a different outlet than Ireland (in any case it’s always good to have a travel adaptor with you)
- Travel first aid kit
- Water bottle to stay hydrated on the go – a collapsible one is best!
I hope this list has given you great insights into the best hotels in Dublin with a pool or two! 🙂
Please note that sometimes the facilities may not be open, perhaps due to a renovation or maybe a private event in the hotel.
I recommend that, since you’re booking a hotel to enjoy the pool, you call the hotel to confirm that the pool will indeed be open during your stay.
Tell the hotel that the pool is the reason you’re booking the stay so that if anything changes, they can inform you in advance to avoid disappointment.
While you’re at it, do reconfirm the opening times of the pools as well, as they are always subject to change.
Also, when specific facilities are important to you, it’s best to book cancellable stays to accommodate your needs, i.e., you can cancel your reservations if they decide to close the pool on your specific dates!
