There are so many amazing bakeries in Dublin that we just had to give you a list of the best. The number one spot is our favourite one but there are sixteen other amazing options to choose from in this list.
If you’re looking for a French patisserie Dublin has plenty to offer along with Italian, Argentinian, and some Irish-style bakeries so there’s something for all tastes.
1. Il Valentino Bakery & Cafe
Ger and I have tried out so many bakeries in Dublin, but the one we keep coming back to is Il Valentino Bakery & Cafe. The coffee is great, Ger loves the ciabattas and I can’t get enough of the croissants!
You have to try the pistachio croissant!
Il Valentino is located on the Grand Canal Dock close to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Trinity College Dublin is also quite close, less than a 20-minute walk!
Walking from the Bord Gais Energy Theatre along the canal towards McMahon Bridge, you will see Il Valentino on your right-hand side.
You won’t miss it as there will probably be a queue out the door!
