Visit this historical location right in the middle of Dublin city. It’s a green oasis amid the hustle and bustle of the city and is home to many species of flora, fauna, and birds. 

You’ll find many spots to take nice photos but take note not to use any drones while in this place as drones are strictly not allowed there currently.

3. The Long Room

The Long Room is as it is named – a long room located in the Library of Trinity College in Dublin. 

It is so named for its length, a staggering 65 meters and its architecture makes it one of the most Instagrammable places in Dublin.

You can visit this room and take photos there on a trip to the Book of Kells, but be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time to enter. For an uninterrupted shot of this magnificent space, go first thing in the morning.

4. Samuel Beckett Bridge

Joining Sir John Rogerson’s Quay to Guild Street and North Wall Quay, the cable-stayed bridge is a sight to marvel at, with its sleek and functional 31 cable stays

The bridge can move and rotates 90 degrees horizontally when required, to accommodate maritime traffic.

Open since the nineteenth century, Temple Bar pub is one of the most photographed Instagram places in Dublin thanks to its vintage vibes and its distinct red exterior. 

You’ll encounter crowds when you’re there but that just adds to the feel of the photo. The booze can be pricey but given its strong history and the great shot you’ll get when you’re there, I’d say it’s worth every penny.

When in Temple Bar, also stop by Love Lane, one of Dublin’s most well-loved (literally!) streets and one of the key Instagram spots in Dublin. 

It was previously a dirty, overlooked street, but it’s been spruced up after the Dublin City Council came up with the “Love The Lanes” initiative in 2014 and cleaned up this once-dingy lane.

A brewery might not be top of mind when you’re looking for places to photograph in Dublin. But hear me out – given how world-famous Guinness is, taking a shot at its iconic black gate is one for the ‘gram, for sure.

Even if you’re not religious or catholic, St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin is a sight to behold with its majestic and elegant Gothic-themed architecture. 

Standing at 120 feet tall, St Patrick’s Cathedral is easily the tallest cathedral in Ireland.

You can take a free guided tour of the cathedral but if you prefer to wander around on your own time, you can do so too – just make sure you get your entry ticket and you’re good to go!
